About Darwen Asylum and Refugee Enterprise (DARE)

Darwen Asylum Refugee Enterprise (DARE) provides a drop-in service for the local refugee and asylum seeker community. It takes place every Wednesday from 9am to 1.30pm in the Central United Reformed Church on Duckworth Street, Darwen BB3 1AT.

DARE’s English Club meets every Monday from 10am to 12pm. Volunteers offer support to learners to improve their spoken English.

DARE volunteers provide other support services at the weekly drop-ins including health, housing and employment support.
