Pregnancy

If you become pregnant you should refer yourself to NHS maternity services so you can start your pregnancy care with a midwife.

Pregnancy care (also called antenatal care) is the care you have while you’re pregnant to help keep you and your baby as healthy.

You should do this online by using the following link https://elht.nhs.uk/services/maternity-and-newborn-services/notes

You will need you NHS number to complete this process.

If you are an asylum seeker you should also let the Home Office know you are pregnant. You can do this by contacting Migrant Help on  0808 8010 503
